Abhayam Kalu, known as Aku (he/him), is a Washington, D.C.-based multidisciplinary healing artist devoted to holistic wellness, herbalism, and spiritual transformation. With over two decades of training under masters across Africa, Asia, India, and the Americas, he integrates ancient healing arts with modern therapeutic practices. His expertise includes Ayurvedic Marma Therapy, Thai Body Work, Acupuncture Detox, and nutritional counseling, among other modalities. As the founder of The Apothekary, a therapeutic-grade herbal tea company, Aku shares his extensive knowledge of plant medicine and holistic health to cultivate well-being and balance.
