New York

Community Herbalist | Flower Essence Practitioner | Outdoor Educator

Arvolyn Hill (she/her) is a Harlem-based herbalist, flower essence practitioner, and environmental educator committed to reconnecting communities—especially Black, Indigenous, and People of Color—to the healing power of plants. Inspired by personal loss due to preventable environmental illnesses, she studied at Twin Star Connecticut’s School of Herbalism and Energetic Studies and later founded Gold Feather, an apothecary and pressed flower art shop. As Manager of the Everett’s Children’s Adventure Garden at the New York Botanical Gardens, she creates nature-centered exploration activities for youth, fostering ecological awareness and empowerment.

Through MoN, Arvolyn shares her wisdom on plant medicine, ancestral connection, and environmental healing. Connect with her at Gold Feather or on Instagram @goldfeather_.
