Empress Woo and Jackie Threeman (they/them) are a husband-and-wife vegan chef duo based in Baltimore, MD, specializing in whole-food, plant-based cuisine inspired by Indigenous Black culinary traditions. Their work, rooted in the wisdom of their ancestors, transforms food into a source of healing and balance. Through The Ma’at Kitchen, they offer vegan catering, meal prep, holistic health consultations, and cooking classes. Additionally, they facilitate sacred medicine psilocybin ceremonies and provide herbal remedies such as ceremonial cacao and detox tinctures.
