MoN Community Agreements

  1. Respectful Engagement and Individual Sovereignty: Respect each person's sovereignty, acknowledging their unique spirit guides, perceptions, and soul journey. When engaging with teachings or discussions, check in with yourself to discern what aligns with your path, respecting your unique spiritual journey by embracing what resonates and simply letting go of what doesn't.
  2. Energetic Separation and Non-Hierarchical Approach: Maintain energetic separation from teachers, showing gratitude for their guidance without placing attributing hierarchy. Recognize that each person holds their own wisdom and divine connection. Embrace teachings that resonate, reflecting on aversions as growth opportunities. Resist the urge to place things into the binary labels of ‘right’ and ‘wrong’.
  3. Inclusive Language: Use inclusive language that acknowledges diverse viewpoints and experiences. Instead of using "but," which can negate or dismiss ideas, use "and" to integrate multiple perspectives.
  4. Balanced Participation: Encourage balanced participation by stepping forward if you tend to be reserved or stepping back if you tend to dominate discussions. Create space for diverse voices to be heard.
  5. Confidentiality and Consent: Respect others' privacy and seek permission before sharing personal information or insights gained within the community.
  6. Respect for Boundaries: Honor personal boundaries and choices. Understand that "no" is a complete and valid response and fosters trust and authenticity within the community.
  7. Curiosity and Self-Reflection: Cultivate curiosity about your thoughts, feelings, and reactions. Ask yourself questions like "Why do I feel this way?" or "What can I learn from this experience?" Practice self-reflection regularly to deepen your understanding of yourself and your interactions within the community.
  8. Flexibility and Adaptability: Embrace flexibility and non-attachment to specific outcomes. When faced with challenges or unexpected outcomes, adopt a mindset of adaptability rather than resistance.
  9. Transparency and Communication: Foster transparent communication by expressing thoughts and feelings honestly and respectfully. Use "I" statements to convey your experiences and perspectives without attributing judgments to others.
  10. Service and Self-Reflection: Engage in service activities with mindfulness and intention. Notice your emotions and experiences while serving, understanding the interconnectedness of individual and collective well-being. Your wellbeing is tied to that of others.
